Ferlan’s (Lance) practice areas include banking & finance, competition and antitrust, corporate services, fintech, foreign investments, intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, and TMT.

Lance’s work experience pre-dates his joining the firm in 2023.  From 2008 to 2023, he worked in the digital marketing and entertainment industry, holding various designations such as bilingual sales executive (with Bahasa Indonesia as second language), sales & marketing manager, country director, and senior regional legal affairs manager.

While in law school, Lance was a scholar of the City of Makati, a Best in Thesis Awardee, and graduated as the class valedictorian.  He was also active in the Bar Operations (Chairperson for Remedial Law) and in the Center for Legal Aid Services. On the other hand, while in college, he was a corps commander of the Reserve Officers Training Corps.

• University of the Philippines-Visayas, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Class of 2007)
• Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023

Experience

• Conducting due diligence involving corporate acquisitions
• Assisting in administrative cases before quasi-judicial bodies
• Assisting with contract review for corporate and commercial transactions
• Assisting with energy and infrastructure projects
