Rafael’s (Apa) practice areas include corporate services, energy, infrastructure, intellectual property, labor, and technology, media, & telecommunications.

While in law school, Apa was a representative to the Student Appeals Committee and a member of the Administration Committee of the Ateneo Central Bar Operations. On the other hand, while in college, Apa was a three-term Associate Vice President for the Ateneo Junior Marketing Association and a writer for The GUIDON.

• Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, Juris Doctor (Class of 2022; ranked 15th in graduating class, second honors)
• Ateneo de Manila University, Bachelor of Arts in Management Economics (Class of 2018)
• Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023

Experience

Apa has participated in several matters.  His experience has included:

• Assisting in civil and administrative cases before various Philippine courts and quasi-judicial bodies
• Conducting due diligence involving corporate acquisitions
• Assisting with energy and infrastructure projects
• Assisting on labor advisory matters
• Assisting with the completion of various regulatory requirements
• Rendering legal opinions on corporate, consumer protection, insolvency, public-private partnerships, and data privacy matters
